This is a WWII Period HOME FRONT VICTORY BELL. These Bells were made front Aluminium Salvaged from crashed German Bombers and other Planes and Sold to Benefit Various War Time Causes. The Bell has a V for VICTIRY on the Handle and round the Bell are Bust Portraits of the War Time Allied Political Leaders Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin and F. D. Roosevelt (Franklin Delano). See PHOTO. The Aluminium Bell is approx. 4 1/2 (11.5cm) across and 5 1/2" (14 cm) High. In good condition for age and these were rough cast aluminium and not bright polished.
