GOOD to VERY GOOD CONDITION This sale is for a large size quality vintage hardback FIRST FOLIO SOCIETY EDITION entitled “ The Odyssey ,” by Homer , translated in selection by F. L. Lucas and illustrations engraved on copper by John Buckland-Wright, including a frontispiece. It was published by The Folio Society, of London , in MCMXLVIII and is the 1948 FIRST FOLIO SOCIETY EDITION (stated). This was one of the earliest of the Folio Society productions – their 11 th title.
