Rare, hard to find craftsman kit for a Hon3 DSP&P Reefer by Clear Creek Models. It may well be a collector item as I haven't seen one of these kits for many years. Kit box indicates #406 which I believe refers to the fact that this kit has trucks and couplers included. This definitely is not a shake the box kit, and good modeling skills will be needed to build it in the manner deserving of the fine quality parts that are included. Included are strip and milled styrene, wire, and numerous plastic castings and parts and instructions with historical background and paint schemes. Plastic castings include an air brake set, air hoses, lift rings, nbw, grab irons, stirrup steps, etc. Also included are nice assembled trucks with metal wheels, KD Hon3 #714 Couplers, a metal weight, and a very nice set of decals that are in excellent condition. Instructions appear to indicate the car later became a C&S car, but the decals are for a DSP&P car only. Kit was purchased new by me many years ago and stored. The kit is as originally purchased and as best as I can determine complete; however it is sold as is. All my auctions are carefully packaged to insure safe arrival, and I ship promptly.
