Hopi Clown Kachina with Ice Cream Cone by Neil David, Jr. This chubby clown measures 6 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide. Once again Neil David, Jr. has portrayed the Hopi clown, or koshari, with great humor. The cross-eyed expression on the clown's face tells you that he has probably eaten too much. It is the purpose of the clown in Hopi culture to portray the behaviors that a proper Hopi should avoid. This rotund fellow has obviously disregarded those lessons. I purchased this great example of Neil David, Jr.'s art in 2004.
