These lighting boards offer an ideal way to upgrade the lights on your Hornby HSTs. They offer automatic switching between Red and White light based on the direction of travel, unlike the standard bulb which only illuminates for forward travel. This version uses standard white LEDs to give a 'modern' look. I also offer a version using 'warm white' LEDs which give an older-style more yellow-white light. As standard, the unit illuminates both headlights. If you wish to better simulate prototypical operation you can turn off either headlight by cutting a track on teh PCB. You could even fit a switch to allow either day or night time running mode to be selected. This auction is for a TWO boards which allows you to modify both power and dummy trailer - the same board is suitable for both. The units are simple to fit in place of the existing bulb and no other components or connections are needed to give realisitic directional lighting to your Hornby HST units.
