You are bidding on a classic antique. It is a candle lantern from a horse and buggy. I do not know the exact age, but I have been told it is close to 100 years old. If you know how old it really is let me know so that I can share it with everyone.It is in good condition with some rusting spots. It has never been touched up. It is approx. 12" tall and 4" across. It has a carrying handle on the top with the inscription BAYDYOT Patent No. 178544. It has a large glass lens in the front, a small frosted one on the left side and a red one in the back. The right side has a hanger clip. When you open the front, you see the place for a candle. T is still some wax in it from days gone by. This is a great piece of Americana for collectors of Horse and Buggy memorabilia or even early automobiles. It is also a good conversation piece.Shipping will be by UPS Ground only and No International Bidders.
