Checkout this Super Hot ElectroVoice 622 Hi-Z Dynamic Microphone! This Custom EV621 is a recent customization which is chopped similarly to the way I customize the EV619 models! This is a Super Hot mic with an Absolutely Awesome Horn-like Tone. The mic has been removed from the original desktop stand and I have filled the bottom of the stem and placed a Switchcraft 5/8" Screw Connector and Adapter to 1/4" at the bottom of the mic so that you can use your favorite 1/4" cable with this mic. The head of the mic has been refinished in a Brown Hammertone which is a close match to the original color of the mic and the chopped stem has been powder-coated in a Metallic Matte Black. The original EV logo has been placed back on the stem and is in very good condition for the age. I have placed a volume control at the back of the mic where it is out of the way but easily accessible when you need to get to it. The head of the mic is about 3" from front to back and the mic is about 3" tall. The mic head is right at 1 1/2" in diameter and is very easy to hold and cup in even the smallest hands. The element is in great condition and it is matched to a Lo-Z to Hi-Z transformer to boost the impedance to 50,000 Ohms. This mic has a great Strong Output and Nice Horn-Like Tone.
