Beautifully RESTORED ORANGE SHEAFFER Fountain Pen The pen being offered for bid is a beautiful vintage Sheaffer fountain pen. It's bright silver pocket clip and cap ring really makes this pen stand out - simply striking. This pen being offered has been restored as noted below. This is a 3 day auction . -- The pen is about 5 ¼ inches long when closed and with cap on. -- Ink System - Cartridge (not included) -- Metal Parts - The metal parts have been cleaned and polished. The pocket clip and cap ring look great (minor imperfections consistent with age). -- Nib- Inscribed: " Sheaffer F Made in USA " has been ultrasonically cleaned. It is a smooth writer, it was dipped to produce a sample writing (see photo) -- Cap screws on tight. -- Overall condition - Very Good - Excellent. There are no cracks, deep scratches that I can see. There is a thin 13mm split in the cap (see photo). A few marks on the top of the cap (see photos) -- could be bite marks but not sure - almost imperceptible. -- The pen has been gently hand polished. Beautiful pen with good gloss and shine - it is an excellent choice for someone's collection - a great gift., Remember monitor colors may vary so take that into consideration.
