My 84 year old, much traveled mother, is still cleaning out her closets. Currently up for sale is her collection of souvenir spoons. Some of them are so beautifully carved they are miniature works of art. My pictures don't do them justice. Most are sterling silver. Up for auction is a sterling silver souvenir spoon from the Arlington Hotel, Hot Springs, ArkansasIn the bowl, is the Arlington Hotel, Hot Springs, Arkansas. The back of the bowl has been engraved Carrie 1904. The front of the handle Arkansas, an Angel, fruit, and other symbols of the state. The back of the handle has an American Eagle.The spoon is in excellent condition, but will need polishing. The mark on the back says sterling and is made by the Shepard Manufacturing Co The spoon is approximately 5 1'2" long. Please ask any questions before bidding.
