Howard Finster Signed Folk Art Angel Prints

HOWARD FINSTER Signed ANGEL Lithographs

These fine art prints were produced in 1994 from original cut-out painting #10,575 of 1989, and each one was hand-signed in pencil by the late, great Rev. Finster at his studio in Summerville, Georgia, prior to his passing in 2001. Only 1000 of these wonderful decorator-size lithos were published, and many were sold at Paradise Garden in 1994 and 1995. The prints offered are from the publisher's inventory.

The colorful image on white background lends itself to virtually any style or color of wood or metal frame, including black, silver, gold or bright color. They may be framed with or without mats, and they make a lovely addition to the decor of any room.

The primary image is covered with "resting souls", small angels and wonderful phrases including: "Angels are never far from thee", "I seen angels" and "Angels are never asleep".

Howard Finster is one of the most celebrated and most prolific outsider folk artists in American history. His works are among the permanent collections of the Smithsonian, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and many others worldwide.
