***Howard Miller $1475 Triple Chime Thomas Tompion Huge Ornate Bracket Clock---EX Vintage Clock---No Reserve*** For your consideration with no reserve and a super low opening bid is a superb vintage 612-436 Thomas Tompion Howard Miller Triple Chime Ornate Bracket Clock. This clock is amazing. Not only beautiful but an investment piece. Huge Clock! This clock measures: 18.25" high (46 cm) 14.75" wide (37 cm) 8.25" deep (21 cm) The clock chime sequences in either Silent/Whittington/St Michaels/Westminster on eight brass rods. Movement is a high end heavy German flat balance escapement type. Clock runs and chimes well. Clock case superb with only a couple light ticks. Comes with original key. 612-436 Thomas Tompion Model, still being made today and lists for $1475. Thomas Tompion was a founding member of England’s famed Clockmaker’s Guild of the 1630s. Rare olive ash burl wood facing around the door. Case design is accented with golden decoration and gold leaf. Glass sides and mirrored back to reveal the movement. Brass finished ornate raised dial favours a silver chapter ring. Durable multiple bronze bushings. Key-wound, triple chime movement with chime silence option.
