Vintage Howdy Doody Advertising Puppet. Howdy is advertising Wonder Bread. He is a cardboard Puppet 7" tall x 3 1/8" at widest part. Howdy is in his signature attire of rolled up jeans, plaid shirt, bandana, boots, gloves - of course, freckles and red hair. He has a loaf of Wonderbread he is advertising. Condition is Fair to Good - he is intact but creased and aged. Howdy was born late in 1947, the creation of Bob Smith, who we all know as Buffalo Bob. Wonder Bread was one of the sponsors during the 13 year run of the Howdy Doody Show. It ran from 1947 to 1960. Those were the Days! Shipping: USPS 1st Class in Continental USA $2.00.
