Hoyt Extended Diamond Oil Lamp If there is no bid on this item in the first 48 hours we reserve the right to add a reserve price. This is a nice vintage Hoyt Oil Lamp. This lamp has an ornate cast iron base that still has approximately 75% of its original gilding. The font has an extended diamond pattern. The font is frosted with the diamond pattern in clear glass. There is a pewter skirt on top of the font and a brass collar with a 1 1/4" inside diameter thread. The lamp stands approximately 9 1/2" to the top of the collar. The base is octogon shaped and measures 5 1/4" wide. There is some loss to the gilding on the base, but overal still has a very nice vintage look. The brass collar between the base and font is in great shape with no cracks. It does have a very nice patina to it. There are no cracks or chips to the glass font. There are some air bubbles and imperfections to the glass, but this is typical for glass made in this era. The pewter skirt and brass collar are in great shape with no cracks or dents. There is some build-up along the edge of the brass collar and pewter skirt.
