This is a beautiful antique massive cast iron floor grate with louvers . Patent dates are 1848 and 1858. One of the largest I have seen. Weighs 27 1/2 pounds.The top of the grille measures 14 1/2" long by 21 1/4" wide. The grate fits a floor opening of approx 12 1/2" long by 19" wide. Has its louvers that work very well by turning the circle on the top of the grate. Minor surface oxidatiion. Has no cracks - repairs or breaks. No International shipping on this item.
