Here is an amazingly huge Victorian Scrapbook. It is made out of an Spring & Summer 1899 Fred Kauffmann Chicago Hardcover which has a cloth cover. The Victorian scraps were pasted on the side where the fashions would have been. The opposite page is still intact and has the original scenes from the catalog. Most of these scenes are military related from around the Spanish American War time period. There are a few scenes of towns/buildings overseas, but the majority are Military related. This is huge, the pop can is to show scale. The book is 24 inches by 21 inches and is heavy. There are 23 pages of scraps and 22 pages of the original catalog with the military type pictures. It has a neat 1895 Santa Barbara Flower Festival Victorian scrap and some have local Minnesota Advertising. Condition, there is wear to the scrapbook and the usual flaws that you see with these old scrapbooks. The pages are intact. You will be hard pressed to find a larger scrapbook in size.
