Here is a gorgeous big 32" antique bisque doll marked #99, DEP, Germany, 16 which is a Handwerck doll Made in Germany. Her face is gorgeous with pale creamy bisque, stacked eyebrows, outlined open mouth with four teeth, painted upper and lower lashes, blue spiral sleep eyes that work great, pierced ears with heart shaped earrings and a dimple in her chin. The neck of the head looks like it was dipped in wax (see picture), it doesn't look like a repair and doesn't show when her head is on her body. I shined a light into her head and there were no cracks or chips only a small firing crack on the rim. Her head circumference is 16" and she is on an antique composition body with the original finish, there is a little compo missing at the top of one leg (see pictures). Her body is great, strung tight and she has all of her fingers and toes (one finger looks to have been repaired years ago). She is wearing an antique mohair wig that is tagged G.B. made in France which is fabulous, soft and full topped with an antique straw hat lined in silk with antique lace and ribbons. Her dress is silk with antique lace insertion down the front and back and along the hem, the slip has alot of pintucks and rows of lace insertion is also antique and I see no holes or stains in either.
