This beautiful antique 100 year old turret spire (technical name for it) was salvaged from a church (in my little town) before it was razed to "put up a parking lot". I was able to purchase all 5 spires in various sizes, but all matching. You are bidding on one of an exact match PAIR - the matching one is in a seperate auction - these measure 41"tall! They were on various peaks at the top of the church. I had NO idea of size (as I was standing on the ground when I saw them) but they are TREASURES!! It appears to be tin, although possibly zinc, which has been painted white. It has rust smears and drips, the paint is chippy and crusty in places - exactly the way we LOVE it - aged to PERFECTION! I have the article from the newspaper with a picture of it before (it was removed last fall ) which I will include for the winning bidder. The measurements are as follows: 41" tall - the base is 19" x 19" square. It features a flame on top, similar to what the Statue of Liberty is holding. I would call it excellent-very good conditon, especially for its age. This can be used indoors or outdoors (it's lasted thru 100 yrs of elements!)It isn't really heavy, just cumbersome.
