The map is titled Ireland by Keith Johnston, F.R.S.E and printed at bottom middle is Engraved, Printed and Published by W. & A.K. Johnston , Edinburgh & London . Stunning and attractive map. Johnston was the Royal Geographer to the Queen, and produced the Royal Atlas, the best and most attractive atlas of this age. The maps are very detailed. The map is amazing, printed on the finest paper, with best printing techniques of the period, finest color lithography, and typical amazing detail of Johnston. The printing is so fine you can see every detail, all the towns, cities, other notations. I believe t is also possibly antique handcoloring mixed in with the printed color, its hard to tell as the printing is so fine. The conditon of the map is mint, beautiful conditon. The map would frame and display quite nicely. The size of the map is a large 19.5" by 24". The very finest quality and most attractive map of this period.
