HUGE 1 LB, 6.6 OZ, PSILOMELANE HUNK, CROWN OF SILVER IS A HUGE NICE 6"X2.25"X2" THICK, 1 POUND, 6.6 OUNCE HUNK OF PSILOMELANE FROM THE CROWN OF SILVER MINE! I have sold several hundred pounds of Psilomelane from the Crown of Silver Mine over the last few years and I was almost completely out of it. I finally received another group that came from an earlier dig that the miner set back because it had some really neat drusy quartz vugs or surface plates in it and he apparently didn't want to part with it. I finally managed to get this group from him. Other than having the drusy quartz vugs or plates over the psilomelane the patterns are still virtually the same as what I have been selling up to this time . I am offering this very nice huge 1 pound, 6.6 ounce hunk for sale in my ebay store this week. The piece measures about 6"x2.25" and is about 2" thick in size. This piece only has a few small drusy areas and is almost all nice psilomelane. Both the top and bottom of the rest of the piece are kind of coated with a thin matrix coating that will need to be ground away to get to the good psilomelane underneath. The black and silver bands of psilomelane patterns go completely through the piece from one side to the other! You should be able to cut the piece into many nice psilomelane cabs.
