We´re offering this excellent, super complete and ready to use, bundle of Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Books and cards, with a unique design, developed by a mother, 2 therapist and 3 special education teachers, specially for kids and adults with ASD, Speech Apraxia, Asperger or any other special need in communication. The communication book is an indispensable tool for ABA therapists, and a very expensive one for parents, caregivers and teachers. That´s why we decided to offer this amazing combo, that includes more cards than any other offers you can find around (230+) and a great communication book. In this bundle you´ll receive: 1 Large Communication Book (11.5 X 10 inches), with velcro lines 10 Tabbed Categories Poly Dividers (each with standard 16 velcro coins) 206+ High Quality PECS cards, printed on #120 white paper and 3mil laminated. 6 Poly Strips (2 of each sentence, 3 options and 2 options/first-then) Our special book's design is different, because: The velcro lines are inside the book, so no more problems with the velcro getting dirty, or attaching to clothes or backpack while being used or carried Special placed velcro coins to hold the most used sentence starters (I need, I want, I see, etc) always at hand, besides the strip. Dividers with velcro coins instead of velcro strips, so the cards will be always organized, and will not overlap, making easy the identification and selection process. Identification tabs are dark-ink stamped with high quality permanent ink, so no labels to get loose or to caught attention Heavy duty poly dividers, made to last for years, even with hard use. Specifications: Cards are standard PECS size (1.5 inches per side) Inside the book there are 4 velcro lines on the left side. The place to attach the strips on both binders is always visible while using the book The book include additional velcro coins on the left side to attach the principal sentence starters, so they could be always at hand We have limited the capacity of the book to 16 cards per divider to make it easier and less crowded to the eye. Anyway, you can always add your own velcro coins or strips to the back of each divider to extend the capacity of the binders. Most of our cards are neutral gender, but in the cases that a gender is necessary (brush, trim or shampoo hair, for example), we include both genders. The book includes 10 poly dividers, with categories name stamped (people, health, speech, outdoors, toys, routines (grooming/house), needs and Activities). Additional sentence starters (I need, I want, Don't want, Help, Like) included. Each kit is manually crafted and every card is manually trimmed, so slight variations in size and/or shape should be expected. Names of the categories and organization of the cards are used as a reference, considering the recommendations of the specialist involved. Remember that every binder is personal and that every therapist works on a different way. You can always change whatever you need to make it perfect for you. Additional Cards If you need more cards not included on the bundle, and you already used your 24 customizable ones, you can always ask for additional sets for an additional cost. Every additional 24 cards set will be only $5.99, including velcro hooks. Every additional category divider is only $3 and includes the velcro loops You can mix and match your additional cards as you wish, but in increments of 24. That said, you can assemble your own combinations (3 animals + 4 foods + 2 places + 3 objects....etc..etc). Just let us what do you need and we'll make it for you.
