Up for auction is a huge lot of broken and distressed doll heads, arms and legs. These come from the estate of an artist friend who used them to make found object art. Unfortunately I don't know how old they are nor do I know their origin. My friend was a scavenger and collected things from all over. This were all kept jumbled together loose in a box. In other words, they have not been kept in pristine vintage condition so you should expect to find them distressed. There are a lot of Japanese doll heads but there are also other ethnicities. Please see pictures. They are made from a variety of materials, some of which I don't know what they are, but there seems to be porcelain, ceramic, plaster, and some kind of composite material. These would be great for another artist to use in assemblage or found object art. Free shipping to anywhere in the U.S. I will be packing this lot in about 5 different groups in bubble wrap. If you wish to have each head or part wrapped individually, then there will be a shipping charge. Please contact me prior to bidding if you need each piece wrapped.
