Huge lot of vintage hankies. I counted about 110 pieces. This lot is about 50-50 combo of good and cutter quality handkerchiefs (I counted 43 with discoloration). The good half has a quite a few never used, with original labels, hankies. All cotton or linen, made in Ireland, or Switzerland. There are some embroidered hankies, with crochet edges, and floral. Some have monogramming. The rest I would consider a cutter quality. Few have small holes, but mostly is some small stains and storage discoloration.(even some of the new ones have edge yellowing) Sometimes the storage yellowing will come out in a soak, but since I am not sure, I am offering this lot as a cutter lot. There are some great, never used handkerchiefs, but they do have some discoloration on the folding lines. There are 2 gift boxes of 3 embroidered hankies (boxes are not in the greatest shape), a satin pouche to store handkerchiefs with few holes, green satin hankie box, several beautiful wedding hankies with lace trim, few silk pieces, great souvenir hankie from London, Christmas, Valentine's, Irish theme. Very cute variety. Please, keep in mind that they may clean up nicely, but I do believe that some of the discoloration will not come out in a wash. And if it does, then that's great.
