Louis VXI Style CARVED MIRROR Limed Wood EXQUISITE Description Incredible Hand Carved Louis XVI Style Pier Mirror with limed finish, having double garland cartouche topped with mother and baby bird, resting atop wonderfully carved capitals that grace fluted column supports. The hand worked carving is exceptional throughout; the acanthus leaves are deeply cut and almost animated, the garlands so detailed, the birds appear to be nearly in flight. It's fabulous. 71 x 40. CONDITION: Vintage and or /Used condition, showing signs of wear & tear commensurate with age and use , minor losses, overall in very good condition; All our items are vintage/ antique and/or used, and most have had decades of use. A buyer of vintage objects and furniture should assume a baseline of wear. We do not disclose every minute sign of use on our items new or old, it would be impossible to do so.
