Great early large brass inlaid lap desk. The top and front are inlaid around the edges with two fine lines of brass inlay. In the middle of the top t's a brass plaque with the letters "EK" etched in. The front cover has a brass plaque around the key hole "lock still works". The corners are decorated with a brass railing. The inside desk has a leather cover, and original two ink wells. Two different hidden compartments please see pics. Some minor age lines to the outside of the box and one of the locks to the inside compartment is missing the other one's still t making it still functionable. Overall condition of the box is GREAT! Box comes with key. The box is 20" wide by 10" deep by 7" tall. Please feel free to ask any questions.
