Up for bid is this huge Mission footstool / bench with quartersawn oak and original button-downed black leather top with large internal springs. Through tennon construction in legs and lower stretcher support. Great original red oak finish (darker ebonization on bottom of legs and more of a red oak finish on the top half of the stool / bench). Leather in great condition with only minor wear. Would work great with a large Stickley Chair or a Morris Chair. Looks to be made by a woodshop cabinetmaker circa 1915-1920. The underside has numerous screws for secured and solid construction and drilled holes in the wood for air movement to circulate. Measures 27" W x 17" D x 18" T. It is very hard to find Mission footstools in this size. I accept PayPal, personal check and money order. Will ship immediately upon clearance of funds. Check out my other Mission furniture auctions and check out my positive buyer feedback. Winning Continetal U.S. bidder to pay $40.00 for professional boxing, bubble wrapping, shipping and insurance. Value priced opening bid.
