This sign is hand crafted from start to finish. It is crafted from combination of wood products and liquid iron. First, I start by creating the shape of the sign featuring a raise bar over the shield. With raised lettering also Next, I put a coating of finely ground iron in a liquid base over the entire sign. Follow by applying an instant rusting chemical to produce real a rust on real iron surface. Thus producing a sign that looks like solid aged cast iron. This sign measures 6' across, 34" high, 1 3/4" thick, and weighs 50 lbs. When bid on and paid for, this sign will be shipped within 3 days in a padded wood crate to insure maximum shipping protection. I try not to make a hidden profit from shipping, but sometime I do and sometimes I loose. To keep things simple I charge a flat rate of 30.00 to any w in the continental U.S. Hope you like my work and thanks for looking.
