The biggest piece of DESERT SANDS Pottery I have ever come across! This is a huge bowl at 9 3/4" wide at the top, opening is 8 1/4" at the top, height is 5.5", 9" wide at the middle, narrowing to 7" wide at the bottom, bottom measurment is 6 5/8". It is made very well! Thick and heavy! This bowl has a matte finish on the inside and a glossy, crazed finish on the outside. It is done in the typical multi colored swirl pattern with blues, greens, tans, reds and browns. It has some minor wear in the glossy finish consisting of scratches, dings, tiny air bubbles, and scruff marks, all are very minor. T are a few very fine vertical crazing lines in the gloss, on the bottom and side, but they do NOT go through into the material. I have checked the inside of this bowl carefully and t are no cracks visible. T is some minor wear in the glossy finish on the outside bottom edge. This is one of the lovliest pieces I have seen and I really hate to part with it but it should be with someone who will appreciate it more! Weight is 5 pounds 7/8 oz.!! Lots of Pot, which will be carefully packed but I do recommend insurance. Bottom has a round mark and inside it reads, "Desert Sands Pottery Handmade". T is additional works onthe inside bottom of the circle that I can't read. I will consider all reasonable offers.
