Huge Vintage Mexican Amber & Silver Ring. Really Vintage, Old Taxco School . This piece was made in Taxco and has the heritage of a long time of producing this kind of jewelry. The design of this ring is really beautiful and you would not find another piece like this. This amazing piece was crafted in the Mexican workshops which are famous for their great quality in the manufacture of this kind of jewelry. It has a rich cultural background like that of the Mexican traditions which inspired this piece. It is known that the silver of Taxco is internationally recognized for its purity and extraordinary artistic qualities. In all the workshops, silversmith was almost entirely done by hand. An incredible amount of handwork was invested in this silver piece. I This ring is made based on a huge piece of amber. The design of the silver was made following the contours of this piece. The amber is set between a curved piece of silver with a round end that holds it. One of the sides has carved lines. Unfortunately, the ambar piece has small scratches around it. ItâÂeÂ(tm)s a really rare piece you have to look at. This piece is for a collection. The central piece measures: 1 Ã,1⁄2 X 1 in . and Ã,3⁄4 in. of depth. It is size: 7 Ã,1⁄2.
