is a very impressive vintage silverplate serving tray from Wm Rogers, a division of the International Silver Co. It has a gadroon pattern edge and on the handles. The center area is stamped with various ornate scrolls, flowers, and shells. It is about 26 1/4 from handle to handle. The oval area is 22" by 16 1/4". The back is marked (eagle) Wm Rogers (star) 4082/22". It is in wonderful harldy used condition.T is no loss of silverplate, no pitting, damaging scratches, dents or dings etc. T are just the light normal surface scratches one might find from some light use and wiping the surface down. It will need polishing, but I guarantee it will shine up beautifully. It is fairly heavy and a very well made piece. T are no monograms or other engravings. This piece would serve well for a tea or coffee set and would make anexceptional large serving tray for food items especially for the upcoming holidays.
