Hugh Edmund Smith Flower Paperweight. A charming little paperweight featuring a spray of three blue unopened flowers and four leaves placed on a pale gray and white jasper ground. A mere 1 5/8" tall and 2" wide. Five side facets and a top window. It is signed with an HS cane at the base of the stem and also scratch signed with his full name on the bottom. Hugh Smith and his wife were paperweight collectors from Millville, NJ and made only a small number of paperweights between 1967-75.In the interest of full disclosure there is a tiny manufacturing bubble which looks much larger but is seen in the third picture.
