This Hummel was first made by Master Sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1955. In 1990, Goebel issued a special edition of "Crossroads" - the "HALT" sign is near the base as if torn off the post. This was an exclusive limited edition run that was limited to 20,000 pieces. This one is numbered 3207. Look closely at all other listings for the "Crossroads" figurine...most will have the HALT sign mounted higher on the post, not on the ground at the base! That's what makes this piece unique! This piece is in excellent condition, in the original box with the Certificate of Authenticity. Stored in a smoke-free home. Book value over $900.Very nice piece - The original owner was my mother who stored it in it's box through the years and it was included in her estate.
