Offered for auction is this Hummel figurine "MARCH WINDS" #43~TMK2.This Hummel is one of the original 46 figurines released in 1935 and has been called "Urchin" in the old company catalogue. Part of a private collection purchased between 1945-1968. Figurine stands 5-1/4" tall on a donut base. Incised with 43 and stamped with the Full Bee and Germany in black. Bright color and glazing; no fading In very nice condition; free of cracks and/or repairs;NO crazing. There is one tiny 1/8" flea bite at the very bottom of the scarf, as seen in picture 2. This Hummel has the old fashioned look and would blend right in with a tabletop holiday or winter scene. Watch for more Hummels in my upcoming auctions as I am listing a large private collection from the original owner and I will combine ship. Will be packed securely with bubble wrap, peanuts and shipped in a sturdy box. Thanks for looking.
