His story is told through the joyful, look on his face as he plays his sweet flute. Originally modeled in 1938 by master sculptor Arthur Moeller with the name "The Flutist", this musician was originally released as as part of the Hummel orchestra. Over the years, this figurine has been released in several size variations, different hair styles, finger placement on the flute and Black and Dark Gray Top Hats.
