HEAVY HUNTER GREEN CARNIVAL GLASS AMERICAN HERITAGE BOWL Up for bid is an absolutely gorgeous Hunter Green Carnival Glass American Heritage Bowl. This bowl was produced by L.E. Smith. It measures 8 1/2" in diameter and stands 5" tall. This is a magnificient example of American Pressed Glass. This lovely bowl was made by L. E. Smith before it was the company was sold in 2004. I have been told that they are about to get geared up to start producing again. THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!L. E. Smith Glass is one of only a handful of American glass manufacturers who preserves the "lost art" of true handmade glass. Each piece is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans who produce glass virtually the same way it was hundreds of years ago. It is in excellent condition with no chips, dings, cracks or repairs.
