Very detailed craftmanship and care went into this figurine. The bird appears alive perched on a piece of hollowed out tree. Black, grey and white markings on the bird along with a red stripe on his head. The tree is life-like colored as well with greys, greens, tans and black. The figurine is accompanied by a dark brown wooden stand. This piece is marked underneath with the green lion inside a circle stamp. It also has Hutschenreuther, Germany and Kunstabteilung on it. It is initialed GB and is No. 46. The picture does not do this piece justice. This figurine is in perfect condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. It measures (while on the stand) about 9 3/4 inches high. I am not an expert but have described this piece to the best of my ability and knowledge.
