This map depicts approximately 150 landing zones and firebases that were used in Northern I Corps South Vietnam during the war - see list below. The original map (without added locations) is a Joint Operations Graphic (Air) Map printed by the DMA in September of 1983. The map shows roughly the area from the DMZ down to almost DaNang. The labeled locations were plotted from an operational map used during the war that belongs to a friend of mine. Many of these locations will be familiar to those that served with the 101 st Airborne, the 1 st Cavalry, various Marine groups (*see below ), and 1/5 Mech during the different years in Vietnam . I'm sure that many other groups served in this area, and I'd be glad to add them to this list. Not all of these locations were open and operational at the same time. Many former soldiers have spent hours looking this map over and recalling incidents (good and bad) that occurred in these areas. This map does not include all locations, and some could have been renamed by different units. Be sure to review the list of locations included A-1 (Alpha 1) Eagles Nest Peking A-2 Eden Pepper A-3 Erskine Phu Bai A-4 Fern Pike A-5 First Pistol Airborne Foxy Quang Tri Alpine Fuller Quick 1 Ann Fury Quick II Anzio Georgia Rakkasan Arrow Geronimo Razor Arsenal Gladiator Razorback
