If you GOOGLE Ellis Prop Co ., you will be able to do a little research on the company, and come to an understanding that this company has been around Hollywood for a very long time now (almost 100 yrs), and it is a company that you can trust. I dont think t is any other prop that is more noticed on the "I LOVE LUCY" TV show, than the IVY dishes you see Lucy and Desi use at 623 East 68th Street, New York. Whether Lucy is washing them in the kitchen, or using them for breakfast for Ricky and herself, or sometimes when the Mertzes are over for dinner, you can plainly see these beautiful ivy pattern dishes. For auction, I am offering one such piece from the show. This 8" plate was actually used by the cast of "I LOVE LUCY" at Desilu Studios in the 1950's. It is 100% Guaranteed Authentic. All authentication paperwork from Ellis Prop Co., as well as the id tag are included. I will also be sure to include a couple of pictures taken from I LOVE LUCY episodes, in which you can see these being used.
