here is an rare book, it is a FIRST EDITION/ FIRST IMPRESSION/PRINTING of IAN FLEMING'S JAMES BOND NOVEL, MOONRAKER, by PAN-BOOKS, with fantastic artwork on the cover, priced at 2/-, this was only the second bond story done in paperback, published in 1956, although LALD was FLEMING'S second bond novel, that was'nt done in p/b till 1957, this is in good condition, with unusually for this book, it has a nice straight spine, although it has a tiny bit missing from top and bottom of spine, and I mean TINY, there is a1" piece of clear tape to top of spine where there was a 3/4" split, this was to firm it uo I presume, but hardly noticeable, but it is there, there is a one word name in biro on inside cover page,only small, NO other writing or inscriptions, a couple of small grubyish marks to front cover, something and nothing, a smallish crease to bottom right corner, as so often happens, but suprisingly, the pages are hardly tanned at all, I'm probably being harsh here saying that they are at all, they are very nice and clean and clear, all in all, a very nice edition for one of the rarest BOND paperbacks, and it is the FIRST ED/FIRST PRINTINg, not a first and later printing as some try it with.
