Ibanez EDB500 Electric Bass Guitar This model is of the Ergodyne series of instruments produced by Ibanez and discontinued in 2006. Distinguishing features include the ergonomic body shape (as implied by the ' Ergo - dyne' label), the luthite body material that serves as a synthetic, lighter substitute for wood and an active circuit, meaning the bass features a 9V battery-powered pre-amp that provides a small boost in output. This bass is typical of the quality that can be expected of Ibanez instruments and Korean manufactured products. It is a solid guitar but not too heavy and lovely to play with a thin neck profile. It is a used model and subsequently features a certain amount of cosmetic damage, occurring as a result of regular use. I have tried to document these as honestly as possible in the photos. Notable knocks include a chip on the headstock, a small crack in the finish originating from a screw of one of the tuning pegs on the back of the headstock and a smooth rubbing mark in the finish next to the strap button on the bottom of the guitar. There are a handful of other small dents over the body of the guitar and a small amount of fret wear.
