Grading We do try and be as accurate as we can. Covers are graded first, vinyl second. Whilst it would be nice to play all the records through first that just isn't possible, so the records are visually graded. In the event of something not meeting the grade, please return for a no-quibble refund. "M" is perfect, and it is unusual for us to advertise any unsealed record as mint. "EX" is very, very clean. Hardly any marks and no scratches. "VG" - surface marks, fingernail marks and very light scratches which will not seriously impair listening. "G" - visible and / or audible shortcomings, so don't expect too much. As far as the cover, see the description which will often support the overall grade, but for guidance consider: - "M"- as new, "EX"- Scuffing, loss of gloss, slight discoloration of white sections, "VG"- Splits, surface tears after removal of price tags, heavier ring wear.
