A Skater's Dream Christmas Stocking! I finished it! Hot off my sewing machine is a new Christmas stocking that looks just as much like a figure skate as possible. This is my own design and I haven't seen a stocking, or even a pattern for one elsew, this realistic looking. Now I can't wait for it to bring joy to some skater! This stocking is about 18 3/4 inches at its longest point. The boot part of the stocking is made of white faux leather/vinyl that looks like a real skate. I brought a pair of my daughter's Mondor tights to the fabric store to help me get the best possible color match for the satin I used for the leg. The stocking is topped with a flirty skirt of Christmas-red panne velvet and a circle of sequinned trim. The design goes all the way around the stocking, so you can hang the stocking facing in either direction. The stocking is lined in red satin. Shipping will be $4.95 for Priority Mail. Payment by Paypal only. I have another, similar, stocking listed separately. (That was my first skate stocking creation.) Thank you for taking a look.
