McA---y? (can't decipher his last name). Harbridge wrote a message to his mother on the back of James photo: Mother, This is my comrad that I went pioneering with, he is one of my best friends. In fact has allways stood by me through thick and thin. Keep this one especially from getting lost and you will greatly oblidge your soldier boy. John Harbridge, D Co. with 2nd Ill. Inf."
