Welcome to my auctions! Today I am listing this wonderful old Snow White doll by Ideal made in 1938. She is 16" tall and all original. Her body is made of hard stuffed cloth with oil cloth covered arms and hard mask face. Her facial features are painted and she has black mohair wig with original red ribbon. Her dress is red cotton on top and bottom of skirt is made of crisp organdy with the pictures of the 7 dwarves in red print. An organdy slip is attched to dress and she also has a white cotton long slip and matching pantaloons Her shoes are cream colored leatherette with silver buckles and white socks. She is not marked, but is pictured in Judith Izen's Ideal book, second edition on page 54. She is near mint condition with the exception of some rubs on her right arms a tiny spot on tip of nose. Wonderful and hard to find doll in this condition. From smoke free home. Please ask questions before bidding, as sale is final.
