Here we have a nice clean original 50’s– 60’s Ideal Atomic Attack Sub still in fighting condition.The firing mechanisms both function, fast, straight and true for some distance. She’s seen some action running silent; running deep, lost turret gun andwith some mars on one side from perhaps coral reefs or sub nets, but the damage was minimized by a fine repair to hull in three small spots under close examination,and adds some character.Topside and bottom is clean and bright under some dust. I think this baby was dry-docked for quite a while as the overall finish has the original luster to the hull and all 4 fins are perfect which is rare, plus the [S16] paint is very nice, good to mint…Peek inside and she’s clean down to the bilgepumps.She’s a keeper.With your addition of a new Retro Partswhich are available on eBay for about $13.00 each-shipped if your check around, a "replacement deck gun" or a pair of "retro torpedoes" it'll make this S.S.N. the show piece of your display.
