An amber coloured art glass candle holder, designed by Oiva Toikka in 1964 for Nuutajarvi Notsjo, as part of the 'Kastehelmi' pattern range. Production was later continued at Iittala after Nuutajarvi closed. Finland, Scandinavia.No idea how old this version is - could be from either of these makers and between 60s-90s?Beautiful shallow dish, could be used for anything.Knobbly dotty concentric pattern is on underside.3 miniscule fleebites on upper rim, hard to see though - see close up photo. No chips or nibbles or cracks.Has been used and loved and is vintage.15cm wide x 2cm tall. 500g.
