This one is 7.5 inch long, 5 inches wide and 2 inches tall. We have given it the Name of Oval Blue Horizon Ikebana . The Colors Are A Royal Blue ,With Earth Tone's Of Sand And Stone. With An Explosion Of Tan That Seen As Though The Has Been Deep From The Center Of The Earth And Then Down The Sides Fades To A Emerald And Forest Green . The Glaze Picks Up The Light And Makes This Beautiful To Look At . This Will Be The Center Of Any Spot You Set It OH well that is how I see it . Each of the hand crafted porcelain Ikebana Pottery is unique in it's self . A Master Potter personally creates all of the glazes. In our local Flathead valley. He keeps four kilns running 7 days a week. His creations just amaze me what he is able to get paint and glaze to do on his pottery Each piece of porcelain is hand crafted and a work of art. The unique glazes move and interact differently under each firing, tfore creating a mood for each piece. Most importantly, all the pottery is free of lead and other chemical additives. Utsuwa for Ikebana proves to be the perfect gift any time of the year. The secret of the Ikebana's ability to keep your flowers living longer and looking fresher lies inside with the kenzan or frog pin. The stems of your flowers are pierced with the prongs of the kenzan, which secures and enables the water inside the Utsuwa to travel to the blossoms of your flowers and maintain their beauty and aroma up to three weeks . Simple cleaning will preserve each Ikebana. Begin by adding one teaspoon of vinegar to the Utsuwa, then rinse it out, fill with clean water, and display your Ikebana. You can also add one drop of bleach (from an eyedropper) when filling the Utsuwa with water. The bleach helps clean the vessel without harming your flowers. Check out my other items !
