This is a great set of two ILLEGAL CHIPS from the Para-Dice Lounge/Casino in East Peoria, Illinois. If the name looks familiar it is because this is the original Para-Dice Club and the name was sold to the current Riverboat Casino--the Par-A-Dice--in East Peoria, Illinois. These chips have the classic Rectangles & Hearts mold around the edge of the chips. (See scan. By the way, these are used chips and the scan looks almost better than the chips themselves.) The Para-Dice was owned and operated by Joseph Rafool when it opened in the early 1940's. It closed in 1951. For the better part of its operation, the notorious "Shelton Gang" was the controlling partner of the Para-Dice. The Shelton Boys were so feared that even Al Capone's mob got their permission to visit Peoria. Nice chips with a great history. (Lots of the Illegal chips do not have such clear Name Identification as do these Para-Dice chips.) Buyer may pay with a check or money order and will pay $1.50 postage. (Insurance extra.) NO PAYPAL
