Green illustrated covers with some fading to front and spine. Light marks to back. Spine has wear to top and bottom. Corners bumped. Gilt to page edges.A few marks to patterned endpapers. A name has been written on back free endpaper. Dedication written to reverse of front free endpaper dated May 13th 1903. Split to paper at contents page and rear endpapers revealing webbing. One text page detached but present. Title page has separated at bottom but is attached. Occasional light foxing - more on final pages but all is readable. Borders browned. Several of the b/w full page illustrations have small colouring with green ink (this has left small stains on opposite pages of text.) 2 illustrations are untouched. One page of text has a closed tear.
