Here for sale: Wedgwood Fairford Dinner Service (w3690) circa 1910 This was given to us as a wedding present 15 years ago but we just have never had anywhere to display it and it's not quite our taste for daily use (and may not last long in the hands of our 3 month-old!). So it's been sat in a box in the attic all wrapped up and that just seems a bit of a waste. Consequently we've decided to sell. I have to say that the whole set is in immaculate condition. I don't know if it has ever been used but it doesn't look like it. There are no chips or cracks on any of the pieces and the colours are still bright and vibrant. The service comprises of: • 2 serving tureens with lids • 1 gravy boat (without dish) • 5 soup bowls (one of these has obviously gone missing) • 6 soup saucers • 6 dinner plates (11" diameter) • 6 salad plates (8" diameter) • 6 side plates (6" diameter) • 1 oval platter (15") • 1 oval platter (13.5") As I understand it this pattern was designed for the US market, so it's pretty rare in the UK. Winning bidder will buy!
