Rare 1933 Imperial Airways 1st flight cover from Cairo to Singapore.Franked with Egyptian stamps cancelled from Cairo .On arrival in Singapore, cover was taxed postage due and 10 centand 12 cent Straits Settlements postage due stamps were affixedand cancelled.Back of cover is inscribed:FIRST AEROPLANE MAIL SERVICE IMPERIAL AIRWAYS CAIRO TO SINGAPOREVery scarce Straits Settlements postage dues used on cover, especially a first flight usage.Cover has been folded vertically but is hardly noticeable and does not detract.Excellent Imperial Airways flight cachet.Excellent cover and rare usage.Opening bid is $35.00.Member of American Philatelic Society for 25 years.
